Elizabeth Reaser, an American actor on film, TV and theatre best known for her roles in The Twilight Saga as well as series like Greys Anatomy or True Detective. Jessica was always interested in the television and film industries. Her first job was as a model. In Australia, casting directors looked for models to auditioned. The role she was offered was "Kiki," the leading character in the film Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girls. Since then, she has appeared in small roles like Peter Pan or Aquamarine. In the Netflix Original series Roman Empire, she played Cleopatra. She appeared as Cleopatra in The second episode of the Original series the Roman Empire. Jessica was selected in the global contest in 2018 to play the role of Talon, the main character, in The Outpost. The producers wanted a clip of Jessica acting and MMA. The producers asked her to submit an MMA video of her swordfighting. The next day Jessica sent the video. Jessica knew that her role required weapons training. After having read the script, she recorded her initial training with an experienced. Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt team was pleasantly surprised by how she performed in the first class. It was the first time she had acted in a US big role, as she has previously appeared in films from Australia. Jessica's enthusiasm for action is shown in the film as she demonstrates mixed martial arts and horseback riding expertise, in addition to her strength and agility. Additionally, she can perform the stunts that make her the strength of a female role model. In Australia she learned to muay Thai along with boxing. Jake Stormoen was filming Season 4 of the show and was in the process of meeting a dog who was wandering around the set.
